Baking Soda Take a small amount of baking soda and mix into your regular paste. Infection can spread to the nasal sinuses (from an upper tooth), to a large vein at the base of the toothache wisdom brain, to the cavernous sinus (see Cavernous Sinus Thrombosis), or under the tongue. All the swelling was gone and another day has passed and it feels fine. Within 48 hours, this had improved it a LOT - it was much smaller and less white and it's been getting steadily better ever since, but there's still a tiny little blister that's a little sore. Sage As we all know, sage is a very good natural pain reliever.
I have known for a long time about the use of garlic, but have never really used it in a serious situation. Ground up a garlic clove with kosher salt (a lot of salt) into a paste and put it on the gums where the abscess was for about 2-5 minutes.
Now, rinse your mouth with it. You will feel good.
